Home › About Us
You know your pet better than anyone. When something seems off, you want someone who takes that seriously, tells you plainly what’s going on, and helps you decide what to do next.
That’s what Happy Tails is for. We’re a veterinary clinic in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, and everything on this page comes back to one question: what’s it like to bring your pet to us, and what do you get out of it?

We’re taking the worry out of vet visits.
There’s plenty that keeps pet owners up at night. A cough that won’t settle. A pet who has gone quiet and won’t eat. A bill you didn’t see coming, or a diagnosis explained in words you can’t follow. A dog who panics in the car, or a flight booked while the paperwork is still a puzzle. And it all seems to happen on the one evening you can least spare.
We can’t make those moments disappear, but we can make them lighter. That means listening properly, explaining things plainly, and being honest about costs. It also means having the team, the lab, and the care your pet needs under one roof.
It’s our goal that you will leave Happy Tails with a solution, a clear plan, and a lot less on your mind than when you arrived.
Having check-ups, treatment, surgery, and boarding in one place means fewer appointments to juggle. It also means you aren’t retelling your pet’s story to a new clinic every time something comes up.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Check-ups, vaccinations, and parasite control help us catch small problems before they grow. Microchipping and Dubai Municipality pet registration are handled here too, so you’re not left chasing paperwork.
Surgery, orthopaedics, dentistry, dermatology, eye care and neurology are there for the things that make pets uncomfortable, from itchy skin to sore joints to sudden seizures.
Boarding and grooming give you a safe option when you travel or simply need a hand, and we can guide you through the paperwork if you’re moving abroad with your pet.
When your pet is unwell, waiting for results is the hardest part. Our in-house laboratory and diagnostic equipment, including ECG testing, mean many tests happen under our own roof. That helps us get to an answer quicker and start treatment sooner.
We also explain what we find in plain language and go over the likely costs before anything goes ahead. The aim is that nothing happens to your pet without you understanding why. If something isn’t clear, all you need to do is ask. We’d rather explain it twice than have you leave with any doubts!

We look after dogs and cats, from puppies and kittens through to seniors, so the same clinic can stay with your pet as they grow.
If you share your home with a bird, you shouldn’t have to go searching for a vet who understands them. Our avian vet service covers birds, including exotic species, alongside everything else we do.

Pets rarely get sick at a convenient time. For injuries, seizures, allergic reactions, breathing trouble or stomach upsets, our emergency care team is there to help. If you can, call us before you set off, so we can prepare for your arrival.
And if getting to the clinic is the hard part, perhaps because your pet hates the car or your day is already packed, our mobile vet visits bring a vet to you in Nad Al Sheba, Al Meydan, Silicon Oasis and Business Bay.
Our clinic is on Nad Al Sheba 1, and we look after pet owners from Al Meydan, Silicon Oasis and Business Bay as well.
If you’ve been searching for a vet clinic near Town Square Dubai, you’re welcome here too. Our page for Town Square pet owners explains how to reach us.
Happy Tails was founded in July 2024 by two veterinarians, Dr. Esraa Salah and Dr. Sasa Glisic, and both are part of the team you’ll meet. Here’s who’s looking after your pet:
Dr. Sasa Glisic, our veterinary surgeon, brings more than two decades of experience to the clinic. If your pet ever needs an operation, a dedicated surgeon with 24 years behind him is on the team. Dr. Esraa Salah, one of our senior veterinarians, has around 14 years of experience. Together with fellow senior veterinarian Dr. Amal Emam, they look after everything from routine check-ups to trickier cases.
Our vet nurses, Ajay Cosaganti, Ehab Salah, and Sagar, keep your pet comfortable through treatment and recovery. And at the front desk, Jen and Leedel answer your calls and WhatsApp messages, book appointments, and help you work out what to do next, so you’re never left guessing.
It’s a hardworking, dedicated team, and the reason so many pets in Nad Al Sheba are in good hands.

We’re committed to care that’s high quality, easy to reach, and kind, including when a situation is urgent. Over time, we’d like to be the clinic that Nad Al Sheba and the surrounding communities turn to first, and we’ll earn that through good medicine, honest conversations, and helping you understand your pet’s health.
Whether you live in Nad Al Sheba or you’ve been looking for a pet clinic Town Square residents can reach, we’d like to meet your pet. Book an appointment, and we’ll take it from there.
